While the Motor was out, i had my roommate workign on a little project for me since he is into programing and micro electronics

The project is pretty much a simple Nitrous heater controll that can be expanded into many different things. The "computer" can see bottle pressure and will automatically toggle the heater on and off to keep it within whatever presssure i specify that i would like. I also have the three LED lights you see wired in. The Green will come on when the system is armed. The yellow, to show that its pulling timing. The red, when the selonoids are acually spraying. This will later be used as well to controll the nitrous shot and make it progressive if i choose to go that route.

Here is an image of progress so far. There is still some wiring to be done but i figured i woudl post it up and see what you guys thought. Ignore the "Map" part on the bottom of the screen. In its place it will read the status of the heater as weather its on or off. The Roommate was just tying out different things for his build.

All said and done it will mount wher ethe stock warning lights / clock would be on the centter dash of the FC. Behind the glass as if it were there stock.

That's a cool project. Its nice to see people spend time on custom projects like this.

Can't wait to see this thing installed in the car.

The best thing is is that its capable of so much more. If there is a sensor on the car this can read it change it or switch something on and off or even controll it. Its basically anything you want to do. For my application at the moment i am jsut wanting it to take controll of my Nitrous system and keep everything in check. From here i can always add to it if i see anything i want to change down the road.

That is really sweet. Reminds me of a build thread on honda-tech.
Wish I had the know how to do things like this. Even better that you are able to mount it so it looks stock.

So you going to add traction control and a E85 content sensor? LOL just messing with you Phish.

Wow a real world application of Arduino that makes sense! I saw this in person and didn't fully grasp how much effort was put into this until I saw this thread. Good job!
