Hello every one. I'm living in Ames and interested in modifying cars. The truth is there isn't that much modified cars on the street and I can't even find a car shop to upgrade my car. Where do your guys go modify your cars? BTW, is there any track have public track day? If so, when?

We mostly mod our own stuff. There's a few shops in DM that do mods for you.

No...But I have heard one of the GTRs is owned by a Chinese. BTW I was beaten by a porsche Boxster(986) on Lincoln way last day..

Yeah, Sophomore in Mechanical Engineering. If you see a black Fiero GT with a hood vent and chin spoiler around campus that's me.

There's also a Lamborghini and a Maserati that drive through campus when it's nice out. I almost got hit by the Chinese guy driving the Maserati at the start of the school year.

I think that there are a couple of members here in Des Moines that have modified BMW's in the past. Crown and Sharpie. But still like Sparkles said what do you want done to your car? Makes a big difference in your platform between bolt on's and total rewiring nightmare.
