Peak power was around 5700 and it tapered off pretty bad after that. We tried turning it up higher but ECT's were really high and my tune pulls tons of timing when it gets above 210 or so. I did get a chance to confirm what I already knew though, the turbo is way too small for my motor. Will be upgrading that this spring/summer at some point. I would like to get it to the track with how it is currently setup, and fully tuned, to see what I can push out of this turbo.

Thats cool, sounds healthy. What t76 is it? Care to share anymore specs?

If you want to keep quick spool but open up some horsepower, you can switch from your 76 with 65 turbine wheel to a pte 7675 or turbonetics has a new 76 billet with 75 turbine wheel. I hear the 75mm turbine wheel opens up a lot of power.

Not bad at all for a $350 turbo :)

I'd say either of those turbos Ryan spoke of should be good for 200-300 more HP if the rest of the setup can take it. The turbonetics will fit a little better though.

It's a on3 performance turbo. They sell a lot of stuff on eBay. It was $320 shipped, ha.

You want more specs on the whole setup?

The turbonetics 7875 is on my list of things to buy soon. Once they start shipping and I see some numbers with them, which should hopefully be soon according to a sponsor on LS1tech, I will pull the trigger. I would like to keep the small form factor for now. Eventually I would like to forge the motor, and build a T6 hotside for it and step up to a Borg Warner S480.

That's what I heard :). I would be interested in a price and info on the 7675 and the 7875 Ryan, if you have anything right now. Thanks.

turbonetics has been backed up all year since they moved to a new building. who knows when they will actually ship. but they will probably be priced well

Man that thing is snappy, not bad numbers at all for a smaller turbo. With that cubic inch, you can still get away with a large T4 flange turbo.

It'd be interesting to know what your backpressure is. How much boost was that?

It was on 14lbs. It will have a bigger turbo this spring/summer at some point.
