Thanks Ryan. Yeah that facility is awesome.
Made 681 rwhp on 21-22 psi. Pullied for ~26 psi..but I think I found my issue. We'll see. Hope to hit the dyno again soon.

Its "fixed." Just extra epoxy on the part.
Only made 21-22 psi on the dyno but found out my supercharger belt tensioner was going bad. The pulley would not free spin at all by hand. We'll see the next nice day if that was the problem or not. We shall see..

Good to hear you "fixed" the bypass. Even happier to find out that the bypass was the problem like we thought. Sounds really strong Casey

epoxy? sounds like something that will work all the way until the final round of the manual shootout and then conveniently fail .

I need to see this thing. I can't see how such a nice blower would have a problem with something like this.

Drove the car to work today. Took the long way home..
Yep, still only making ~22 lbs of boost. Gotta be that bypass.
Ryan, I called Vortech when it failed initially and they said it was outside of the 90 day warranty. Said I could send it in and they would see what they could do but I decided to pass on that option.
Apparently it is a stock 03/04 Cobra Eaton bypass valve. Thinking about tracking one of those down to replace it. I will get it figured out, one way or another.

Can you rig it shut and test drive it to see how much boost it makes?

1. When is your appointment then?
2. 15.XX
3. I already have a dyno sheet
4. I've already talked to Clint and Ryan during their open house and made arrangements to get on their dyno for a retune when I get a cam change done sometime before spring.
I don't know whether to be flattered or annoyed with your constant badgering of me. Maybe it's just the typical winter time internet BS. Maybe you're secretly in love with third gens. I honestly don't know. I do however find it laughable at best the amount of effort you put into it. Your head has seemed to have grown a little bit since your slower ET netted you a trophy. I bring up a few questions about your cage, and you turn around and post a irritated response and lock the thread. Ever since then, you've been on my nuts about bringing my car, a car I've repeatedly told you is set up for street/road coarse driving, 3 hours away to a drag race, like I haven't been there and done that before. What's the deal? Now that you've kissed and made up with the Boren's, you gotta find someone else to occupy your internet wit?

Casey, that's really odd they don't make a billet or full metal version. I'd probably epoxy the new one around the seams, or see what the other guys running high boost are doing.

Forge makes a wastegate actuator that appears to be the exact same thing. I wonder if you could rig their nice all aluminum actuator up to your supercharger. It was designed for turbos, IDK if it will work, but it certainly wouldnt fall apart.

yea there are a lot of turbo actuators out there I could see it possible to bend the actuator arm or weld on a 90 to get it to work if your replacement doesn't hold up. I have some actuators here that are all metal and like $70

However sounds like Ryan has a better deal if you are going to fab something yourself.

I'm extremely disappointed I didn't take it to Clint down at Karl's Performance sooner. I've basically been driving around for 2 years with a tune a 4 year old could have done better with. It's night and day from what I had before. No more surging chug of death. Made more power than it did before even with stepping down in cam. I'm extremely happy with it. I never would have guessed it would have made that much on a Superflo with a stock bottom end. I'm going to need to get some better rods this year, or at least rod bolts. Keep in mind, I've got $200 in the bottom end including buying it.
