As some of you have seen I recently picked up a new DD after the A6 being totaled a couple month's back.

I was originally searching for a B4 S4 to do a build on but never found one clean enough to pick up. I started to look for just a cheap DD and couldn't make up my mind. Had found a turbo BMW that I thought would be pretty sweet but then came across this 2001 Acura Integra GSR, what really drew my attention to it was how clean and low the miles are 105k, and also it does not have the horrible dual round head lights, it has a "JDM" Type-r conversion. It is slightly modded with a custom tune, stupid lowering springs, blown stock shocks, RMF header, Skunk2 stg2 cams, complete Brian Crower valve train including over sized valves and 440cc injectors. It is tuned on a P28 chipped ecu using crome.

At this time i plan to add a resonator to the exhaust cause its too damn load, get a wideband in it and play with the tune more to for better mileage than power. I don't have a super long drive to work but its a good bit more than I was used to and I'm seeing the extra expense of gas hit my pocket book. I do need to have a size skirt and the rear wing repainted and will do so probably next spring. Also came with another set of wheels with brand new pirelli snow tires on them. On to the pictures.

kind of jealous, I really want an integra for a DD. Just are always overpriced when I look for them. But being a GSR it'd be a good thing to build if you wanted to. 01teggy selling a bunch of parts (injectors/turbo/manifold/internals) off his build :)

Still, seeing you buy a honda like this reminds me of how you told me "in this many years, your pos will be off the road in a junkyard while my audi is still running great riding smooth and luxurious"

Well you were talking about the talon when you posted that, and to be fair the talon is still out there currently getting re-done though. Oh the good old days.

moncef has been passing the peace pipe a little too much I think.

Pics wont work at work, but definitely a nice car to DD. I'd like to get one or an rsx to replace the civic. Just a step nicer of everything in those in comparison to the civics.

With those cams tune etc any idea what it should do in the 1/4? I know its not a full race car etc I'm just curious.

i'd guess mid 14's with a good launch if you compare it to my stock legacy turbo. the subaru actually seemed to creep up on it up on it a bit rolling. legacy gt's run low to mid 14's stock.

Fixed.

Let's go to iLL and get it tuned, The owner knows entirely too much about Hondas up there.
