Is anyone going to the cruise to the woods this Sunday? I'm going in my car and will be meeting up with a couple friends to cruise up with. I don't plan to go the whole way this time. Probably go to Stratford, check out all the rides and head back when everyone leaves town. I hope to get the chance to do a nice long smokey burnout in Stratford as usual.

Went with a couple people last year from CR. Was a long drive but was a ton of fun. I'm undecided if I will make it or not this year.

Thanks for adding the link. I guess I thought everyone knew about it already. Lol. I believe the cruise is the fun part of the whole thing. Much funner if a group of friends gather and do the cruise together.

The cool thing about our cruise from ankeny is that we meet several other cruises in Stratford. Hundreds and hundreds of cars will be in Stratford alone. I think it was over 1000 last year. Cars take over the town parking in all the streets from one side to the other all in the same direction.

We'll meet up in ankeny about 9am. Better to be there earlier to be towards the front of the line and so we can all b.s. before we hit the road.

A couple buddys were telling me about this last weekend. Looks like a blast! I ended up committing to a photoshoot instead lol.

Id take the old lady on that cruise if I had a vehicle worth doing it in. Just getting to fort dodge on the bike I'll be pretty much done.
