I'm sure many of you have seen or talked to me before. My name is Jason and I drive a white '66 ford mustang coupe. I've been out of the scene for a while, but haven't lost interest. I spent a lot of time on dragsource when it was a .com and .net. I'll see many of you at the shootout in a couple weeks to catch up. Don't worry about me clogging up the forum. I never posted much and probably never will. Just wanted to let you know I'm lurking around.

Yes, it is. Its powered by a 347 with a couple bolt ons and backed by a t5 that I have a tendency to break. I'm still up in the air if I'll be running it at the shootout. Lack of sticky tires will probably keep it off the track.

with this cold coming I doubt any of us will hook.

The problem with my car is the wheel hop more than the lack of grip. Last time it went down the track it hopped so bad it grenaded 2nd gear. That's the norm for this car anyway.

Wasn't your car set up for more auto-x than drag?

The shootout is really gonna show who's got the baddest car with it being so late in the year. I know my car probably won't hook up...

You must know my car then. Yes, it's set up to go road racing. I enjoy the drag strip too but won't sacrifice my cars handling to make it faster in a straight line. I've used the bottle in the past to help, but not with this motor.

Do I know you?

I enjoy both as well. I bought that cobra ecu from you like 5 years ago.
