99 Suzuki GSXR 600. I am 3rd owner, bike is completely stock minus being repainted (dodge burnt orange), turn signals, windscreen, and being lowered. Brand new rear brakes, fresh plugs, and new oil/filter were just installed. Has prior Iowa salvage due to small incident which ruined the fairings over 10 years ago. No frame damage, and It's straight as an arrow. Just over 6k original miles. Needs absolutely nothing to ride!! Just hop on and go! Not in a hurry, nor do I need to sell the bike, so lowball offers will be ignored. Must see the bike to appreciate! Looks flawless, and rides super smooth.

Isn't that the one that has been on CL for months? GLWS!

Also, if it's only got 6k original miles, why does the Odometer read over 16,000?

why does the Odometer read over 16,000?

I wondered this too.

I wondered this too.

Could be why it's been on there a looooooong time. I think I saw it near the beginning of the summer.

And not to be mean, but let's be serious. The KBB for this bike with a clean title is 1600....

Jeez if I had that sort of mark up I'd be a douche and say no lowball offers too. Must not want to part with it that bad.

How is it stock when you list off a bunch of shit that isn't stock?

Yeah I was lucky to get $2k out of my salvage title 01 750cc gsxf.

The miles thing I'm sure is really raising eyebrows, cause it sure is raising mine.
I'm sure it runs and rides great, but you have to be realistic - especially since you're getting into about the worst time to sell a bike.

Oh and like said above, great first post.

edit:
I see here he gave the reason for the cluster being replaced.

wow... only $1k more than I paid for my '02 R6 with a CLEAN title, and about $1500 in receipts. They're being nice, you are fucking retarded.
