looks and sounds pretty quick . especially for 3.23 gears.

i was just looking at your mod list . that edelbrock top end kit comes with a lot of stuff for the money. which one do you have http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc/power_package/tek_chevy.shtml

get some sticky tires and some nos and you should be deep into the 11's .

Its .030 engine and with the pistons that are in the block, its running over 10:1. I bought the matching, cam, heads, to go with the intake I got from my bro, and a 650cfm carb rather than the 800cfm they dyno'd with. 800cfm Is just too big for it. I know thats what they advertise, and as far as Horsepower goes, that's crank rated HP. I figure since its bored .030 over, higher compression pistons, its probably sitting around 425hp crank and with 20% drivetrain loss, puts it around 340rwhp. I need to get it dyno'd though so I know for sure. Batwoods Regal for comparison was about 350rwhp and ran a 12.6 @ 112. So I'm not too far off.

and as shoddy as my car looks, I guess its a sleeper as most people have called it lol.

Sounds like it pulls through the gears and rpm's nicely!

Is you car still a mechanical speedo? I think they make different gears
To fix that lol

And yeah it is I believe. Too much work when I can just get a dash mount for my phone and use my GPS to track MPH that way lol and its accurate.

haha I love the low expectation speedo's. I think my mustang is 80 or some silly shit.

That is the goofiest speedo Ive ever watched lol. So that car is finally running like it should. No more loading up and terrible gas mileage? Well..maybe never will have great mpg but...not dumping fuel?
