Looks like those should help with traction. Do you live at the fountains off of 50th?

Well when you only have one axle in, because the other one looks like this:

Then you only need one slick! lol

That one supposedly wasnt heat treated correctly. New axles will be here tomorrow.

Yep... for now. I'll be house shopping over the winter though.

Not really. I could have probably run them with a spacer, but then I would run into issues on the outboard side with the flare. I only had about an inch between the rim and the strut, and I'd need 1.6" because the section width is so much larger with the 10" tires.

I hope the garage are better than the garages at my apartments. No power no lights makes for working on a car somewhat difficult.

I'm sure you'll have plenty of traction with those on that light of a car

Running NA should be fine with those, but you might consider skinny front runners when the speeds get 120-130+ mph

Agreed. It will likely do the bias ply dance in the big end until I get some front runners. Thing is, I don't really want to get a plethora of 4 lug wheels when I'll probably 5 lug swap it in the future....

I was wondering about the 5 lug swap. Not to often you see a z of this level still running 4 lug it seems. Just do the front first so you can squeeze some big brakes on sooner.

One off.

They started life as Z31 300ZX Turbo half shafts.

I Had them do:
-new 300M bars(stronger than 4140)- 36 spline - to my length specs
-new 4140 chrome moly 36 spline cages
-new ball bearings
-new boots
-cleaning
-powdercoating
-assembly

They told me that they'd fully warranty them to 700whp.

And the replaced axle stub is installed, and back in the car, thanks in part to Newgen!

I'm looking forward to having the car at the shootout, and making some full 1/4 passes!
