86 Mustang SVO. I've owned this car for around 9 years, it has a lot of the base work laid out to make some decent numbers just needs a more motivated person. With a Esslinger head and a bigger turbo it can push past 400hp fairly easy with the existing parts. For forum members I am asking $5700. Not looking for trades. I am selling this to clear garage space for a bigger project.

Older engine bay picture, it is much cleaner now.

I am going to build a high compression V8. The notch is going to get its floors repaired and some frame reinforcements, seems better than taking it to the JY, it was my first car. Its already mostly gutted and I have most of the parts I need hanging around.

Sad seeing this build end but the new one should be badass. GLWS

Thinking about it. I am keeping the V8 vague. I have my sights on a 351w roller engine that I can pick up cheap with low mileage, but I also have the entire swap kit to drop in a 460, and I have a 5.4 engine that I can have for free from a wrecked work truck of my dads with whatever parts are necessary. I really enjoy boost, maybe a Procharger next time.

I still say go 5.4 but thats just me.

The 5.4 is very appealing. I really like how much power the blocks can handle before breaking.

Not to mention how sick mod motors sound with good exhaust.

What would Ellis Juan do?

I should just go with the 5.4. Seems like the logical choice. If I go 5.4 boost is mandatory though.

Did it just leave a bad taste in your mouth after all the BS?

Basically. With everything I have into it I hardly ever drive it out of fear of door dings, scratches, etc. The next project will not be pretty and if someone dings it or I run over a cone at an scca event I will not have a single worry.
