Dan said they haven't determined the exact hours they will be open that day. They will post it online at a later time but they will probably open around 10-11am and close at 5-6pm.

So, more on this...

Will there be a session before the competition for some shake down runs?

Will there be chances for grudge races after?

Is there any real schedule?

Its an open test-n-tune day at the track so you can run whenever you'd like as long as you are on time when the tower calls your elimination round.

The rounds won't start for at least an hour after the track starts running. To get bracket seating we will take you best timeslip from your test pass or passes. You don't have to make a qualifying pass, but in that case you will most likely get seated unfavorably against a faster qualifying car. The bracket seating will put the fastest cars against the slowest cars initially, allowing for the fastest cars to meet up in the final rounds.

I'll try to add more details the week before the race.

So a few of us were talking last night how we have not paid.. hell i have not even registered. Can we register and or pay the day of? Also, we were talking. Is is $50 to the shoot out puls track fees or whats this whole thing costing. It seems like a few people are asking me questions and i dont know... so i figured someone better ask.

AutoMods

Its still the early registration fee of $25 to register. You have to pay the track the normal $20 to race at the gate. I'll be busy at the track so I'd rather you pay beforehand so I can have all the entries ready. Paypal to sales@ImportEvolution.com. The monday before the race I'm going to end the early registration price and it will be $35 for late entries/payments.

Sorry about not paying yet Ryan. I'm on the fence about taking a car right now. I'm in the middle of possibly trading my car for a new project. If it ends up falling through i'll take the car probably will end up paying the day of.

Are open headers allowed in the manual class? I've still got the exhaust from the stock 5.0. It's one piece from the shorty headers to the rear bumper so I'd need to cut it apart before the race. With the exhaust off I hope to get into the 11s, so I won't be in the top running just think it'd be fun and don't want to piss anyone off.

Did I miss something or does it not say anywhere what time gates open or racing starts?

no rules on the manual class

Gates open at 11:00, racing starts at noon. get there early and pass tech and and get one or two test passes in. a good test time slip will get you seated higher in the bracket

I've kept extending the $25 early registration fee. I will keep the fee at $25 until thursday at midnight. I prefer to have everyone pre-register and pre-pay so I can print everyone's info out and plan accordingly rather than at the track when we are busy getting ready to race. Paying at the track will be $35.

You can paypal your $25 to sales@ImportEvolution.com

I called CFR and reminded them that we were coming and the # of entrants, they say it shouldn't be a problem to get our elimination rounds done on time, we will get our own lanes. Dan had a heart attack and won't be there, wishing him a speedy recovery . Our contact guy there will be Scott Gardner.

Since the grudge day got rained out this last weekend, some of us who were going are coming to CF this weekend. Not sure if a couple of them are entering in the shootout or not, I know brad already did.

Ryan owns a business with a good customer service rep. Paying online is a sure thing and would be the way to go. I've known him for over 10 years. If everybody pays up front he can get all the names in and get it to the track officials up front. It's not going to be easy to keep adding people in ones or twos and getting all the info in.

How many people do you have for this now Ryan? Looks like the weather will be good.

Gates open at 11, racing starts at noon. You will have about an hour to do one or two test passes and use that timeslip to get seated into the elimination ladder. There will probably only be 30-45 minutes between each round.

We will get our own lanes, cfr will probably have us write something on our window to identify us, maybe "IAF" . Their computers will track all times and do the seating and generate the round matchups.
