Sorry to hear. Curious if I knew any of them. I grew up in Wapello and know quite a few people from Burlington.

i don't know completely every person involved but here are the ones I personally knew involved excluding a couple, first 4 are the ones who died in the accident
Blake Eakins, Caitlyn Atchley, Matt House, Jake Boyd, Katie Nelan, Doug Metcafe, Joey Schier, Rene Trejo. I don't know for certain EVERY person in the accident and don't want to give false info but those are the ones I knew.

Definitely is shitty... but its risky being out so late on a overcrowded jon boat and drinking.

11 people on a Jon boat and none in life vests, this could have been prevented :(
