I'd need to check. I remember the 90's were a little different. I think we could make anything work.

We are putting a old 305 in our 914 race/junk car. Should be fun though. Rebuilt 305, vortec heads and cam. I rebuilt the trans and we plan to use a modified dsm shifter to operate the trans instead of the crap linkage the car uses stock. If the trans lives it will be a lot more fun than it was. Car is like 2000 lbs or so.
