The updated V-10 engine has an estimated power rating of 640 horsepower at 6,150 rpm, an increase of 40 horsepower over the 2010 Viper. Producing 600 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,950 rpm, the Viper puts out the most torque of any naturally aspirated sports car in the world.

absolutely gorgeous. I like how many aspects from the original GTS this inherited.

Is it just me or does it look a LOT like a.c6z?

the front looks like a vette, but the rear half is def from a viper. I'm not sure what it is about the carbon fiber but it just doesn't work for me. I'm not sure if its the color combo or what. I think the car looks pretty good though. I think a color matched grill would be better.

Yeah I can see it.
That video is frustrating. I only watched half of it because I got bored. I need some big smokey burnouts to keep my attention.

I read about it on TG;s site here: http://www.topgear.com/uk/car-news/Dodge-reveals-SRT-Viper-in-New-York-2012-04-04
"Dodge's 8.4-litre V10 producing - in basic form - 640bhp and 600lb ft of torque. That makes it the torqueiest naturally aspirated engine to be fitted to a sports car... ever."

I dont like the front end, rest of the car looks good, but DNW, not real big on how V10s sound.

vipers, trucks(Ford, Ram and SRT10 rams), heard a few sound clips of exotics. I really dont think the sound of a cammed high compression big block can be beat

Agreed, I don't like they way they sound down low. Although, small liter v10s like the gallardo and lfa are probably my favorite sounding engines. The only vipers exhaust I truely like is Jesse's. Not trying to be a nuthugger, but that turbo sound through the open side pipes is awesome.

Yamaha tuned LFA V10 exhaust is absolutely symphonic. I like the sound of a Viper V10 to a degree, I would compare them to the sound of the M5/M6 V10 in that their sound is a tad harsh. It just isn't a very pleasant sound like a flat plain V10 or 90 degree V8, but to each his own.

I accually prefer V12 sound over V10

Tiny displacement with too many cylinders sounds sweet to me.
