Invalid Redirect URL (http://www.iowaautoforums.com/?) promptly after signing in? If so we need this fixed Ryan!

Its annoying it doesn't redirect back to the forum. I think its just more of a thing to keep the forum looking decently professional where there's not a lot of bugs/issues like these just sitting around. Idk, just my 2 cents.

I've never seen this issue and i've been on the forum from many different computers and phones, friends, relatives houses, etc. Are you using a shortcut or are you manually typing in the url?

Happens most every time I log in on a new (or work..) computer.

Shows as being logged in as soon as you click new posts though so I've never considered it a big issue.

Could be that I'm signing in through a saved name and password.

Well after looking at it, my bookmark is www.iowaautoforums.com and that's where the saved info is. However after logging in it wants to take me back to the same url [www.iowaautoforums.com] however the forum link is really [http://iowaautoforums.com/forum.php] After I switched the link to the [http://iowaautoforums.com/forum.php] it seems to have properly redirected back to the forum after logging in. So it seems people who log in through www.iowaautoforums.com without the /forum.php will get a invalid redirect.

I've been able to recreate the problem on 2 different browsers. So I know that's what the issue is.

the problem is coming from those people that like to put the 'www' in the front . I never type the www so I've never seen the problem before. Thanks for the heads up, I will look into it. I don't know why nobody has mentioned it until now!

Problems fixed. The default forum url was set to http://IowaAutoForums.com without the 'www' . So whenever you logged in with 'www' it would then redirect to the non-www and cause a redirect warning and also wouldn't show you as logged in until you clicked a link. Clicking a link would send you to the non-www side and the saved cookie would be recognized and log you in.

Now the website is set to use a relative url so if you use www it keeps the www's in the url. If you don't use it, it keeps it that way. Only downside is if switch your url style you will have to login again, where as before, clicking a link would sometimes get you logged in.
