Not sure when these came out, but I just came across them. Should definitely handle good in the rain.

Really? I think I heard them briefly mentioned at best. Either way, Those are hilarious. Anyone thinking about running them on here?

I think its kind of silly to have a dot like tire and the manufacturer says not for street use

Hoosier has a very similar drag radial I was considering getting. Not like I'm gonna drive in the rain anyways... (intentionally! ;) )

Yea that's been around though. The old style Mt radials do better typically. I know rob didn't like them on his car that much

Is it considered a DOT tire? Man, that just would further an argument about slicks being allowed in the shootout.

I believe hoosier was dominating the x275 class so MT might have copied them to compete. I read something like hoosier was not using a true belted radial allowing it to function more like a slick. so mt had to up their game

both tires are in street legal classes I would see those are no different than a cheater slick.
