Trying to get a proto-type part made up and possibly printed. I'm capable of drawing anything in 2d CAD, but my CAD at work is the lite version and does not have access to 3d drawing. So i'm needing someone to draw up a 3d model that I could send to a company to have printed/milled.
Anyone know of anyone, or can help?

I can take care of the 3D modeling for you, and Kirkwood has a small rapid prototype maching (6" x 6" x 10" rough guess). I could ask my old instructor about using it, I don't think he would mind.

I've been doing 3d modeling for 5 years so if you need a file look me up, using Rockwell's various 3d printers for personal use is a tough one though as I've tried and failed a few times. So whatever thats worth..

Trever, you can download a free 30 day trial of AutoCad that does 3D.

I got ahold of solid works. Got the part mostly designed. Probably still going to give it to chase to go over and then persue printing. Thanks guys.

Just a heads up Chase will probably look at it with Invertor so I recommend saving it as a ".step" file.
