GT5 High Res Pictures.

I got bored and took some pics of a couple of Camaro's I got "race modified" in GT5. They've made a lot of improvements to the game, a lot of the car sounds are better (Example: 2000 Mustang Cobra R), some downloadable content with some new cars and a couple of tracks, the new 18 Mile Test track "Route X" with 1/4 times(no mph traps), mile times, 0-60, and G's on accelerating. All the standard cars have a basic "blacked out" inside cockpit view that they are still working on. All in all its gotten a lot better. My only gripe now, amongst the other things fixed, they need some more tuning, boost controller for the turbos, underdrive pulleys for the superchargers, nitrous added back in, actual drag slicks (w/possible tire pressure adjustments) (instead of the "soft racing" type they have) and a drag racing mode in 2 player. Its just really nice they are trying to get Downloadable Content out now each month for the players with new cars and new improvements to the game. Kax is listening to its customers and making them happy when it comes to adding stuff into the game.

Also if someone wants a possible desktop photo of a specific car, look up their premium car list, pick one and i'll see if I can get a picture of the car with a certain color of your choice.

Welcome man, just have had a lot of down time and I've been doing a certain seasonal race over and over getting a lot of credits and just dumping them on buying all sorts of different cars. I would suggest if people were to get into GT5, get at least a Logitech G25 Steering Wheel or something of the sort. I spent a pretty penny for my racing chair that I've got, but for racing games, it makes them all the worth while.

^^ is exactly what I have, was around $725 brand new. Can get it cheaper if you shop around now, especially with the price drop of the G25 Wheel.

I've been a fan of GT since 1, and honestly 5 wasn't worth the hype or price. All the cars I like are ports from 4. The physics engine is great, but with the promise's they tried to pull off... I was just disappointed. I think I gave it 2 weeks. I can paint cars AND the led's are exact in the ferrari are exact. Damn homes its what I've always dreamed of.

And I agree, they need to start getting all the regular cars ported over to Premium models, kind of shitty they have 20 different variations of the 3000gt between US and Jap versions, yet they can't get more variety of the others muscle cars? Its like come on.

They did do a good job getting most of the sound updated, however I think they still could have done a better job on the Camaro's though. I think they did a better job on the 2000 Mustang Cobra R as I mentioned, does sound good when racing it.

From what I've heard in shitty youtube videos, your consensus is correct. I hate how people fight over which game is better, the answer is neither. They both pride themselves on their own individual uniqueness. The reasons I prefer GT5 is for the simulation type racing (being able to use my racing chair). I would play Forza 4 but I don't want to invest into racing wheel specifically for the Xbox because of the compatibility issues that Microsoft put on its console. It has awesome sounds, awesome cars, decent graphics. But I don't get the satisfaction from the controller that I do get from using the Racing Chair. GT5 has awesome graphics, awesome physics, lots of cars but limited variety to my preference and ok sounds. They are trying to work out all little things. In the future, I hope they get a larger variety of different models, nitrous added back in as well as other tuning aspects, sounds tweaked etc. Game still has quite a bit of work to go before its "perfect". But either way both games are awesome in their own right.

I wouldn't argue its better, they both are pretty cool in their own rights. Forza 4 has the ability to freely paint your car any way you wish which is pretty cool. All the cars are designed to an equal standpoint, no one car is better than another.

GT5 on the other had has the ability to take better photos of your cars with backdrops and more options in regards to that. Let's face it, without the GT games Forza wouldn't exist, we Forza fans owe Polyphony a lot of thanks for that. There are cars in GT5 that I wish were in Forza!

they both seems like pretty realistic drivers, but the new GT really has a weird dynamic. Even just using a controller its like you can feel weight transfer, not just visibly seeing the car lean. It even makes slower momentum style cars fun. Not too slow though, those kubelwagen things are dumb.

Its just a matter of degree in preference, no game is better than the other, just what suits your gaming needs. But yes I agree.

Where is this new track at? I downloaded all the content and I see no track? Im only a Level 21, yet Stuck in Extreme class because I have no race car like the 787B to compete in the like the wind or anything to progress me in the game farther and I dont have 4 million to buy one. It sucks winning all the races to start the game off you dont get as much experiance points. and dont get me started on the STUPID B-MODE my driver allways crashes and who wants to sit and watch the CPU play? not me. Wish you could Fast forward like on GT4

Route X is what its called for the 18 mile track that lets you test top speed etc. Its $4 but well worth it. I've bought all the Downloadable Content for the game so far and I think its worth it if you play enough. As far as B-Spec goes, I was pissed to find out that I caught the tail end of a really good money race under seasonal events, its over now. But for 1st place, you would get 4 million credits(200% experience/money log in bonus for logging in about 4 days consecutively) for just keeping an eye on the driver for 27 minutes. When doing B-Spec, I usually just do a few races over and over just making sure my guy was winning but not letting his meter get all the way in the red. That's when he'll start messing up. I got my main B-Spec driver to level 38 grinding that 4 mil race until it ended. Whats your username on there Jesse?
