..and then go on to solve a member's stolen car...that turned out to have been stolen by another member.

Well, color me impressed with the Honda kids and the majority not tolerating thieves, sucks they had shady members though.

I had a good laugh at that 17 pages. Honestly, I think that once you're an exposed thief, a free-for-all on your morals/ethics/supposed sexuality/family inbreeding are all fair game. Thieves deserve no respect of any kind. I applaud anyone that will shame those kids into oblivion.

I'm exposed to a lot of people knowing where my stuff is and there is no way to avoid it. Security system and make sure its all insured properly. I try to keep my car insured for more than just the book value + parts on it but also compensate for the cost of all the labor thats in it. That would suck to start over if a car was stolen but a good insurance compensation might help some.

To me, car forums or communities such as this really aren't any different than racing at the track or pulling up to a car show. If someone wants to jack my stuff they are going to do it regardless of where they laid their thieving eyes on it.

I just hope they don't. Beyond that, what can you do?

I wish JDMCity was much more like this forum. That whole board is an embarrassment to the supposed 'car scene' in central Iowa. 95% Hondas, and about 80% ricers, idiots, and wannabe thugs. I met Nick trough some friends a couple years back, but I had no idea he associated with thieves. What a mess...
