That poor Subie just ended it's life because it's owner has no taste.

I'm guessing Nitrous backfire, it happened early in the pull and the car still made 400+hp. No way it did that on just boost.

had it happen before right after i put the FMIC on the S4...

looks like the intercooler pipe may have taken an a/c line out? seems unlikely but possible

^ seems more likely to than nitrous

Yea the a/c leaking seams to be more logical. Just don't know why the charge pipe would blow off like that just from boost alone. A nitrous backfire sure would send it flying though...possibly breaking through an a/c line and causing the spill?

^you wouldnt know. Subarus are amazing boosted machines. They throw chargepipe like evo's throw rods.

Let me chime in here...

I have only heard of WRX's with FMIC blowing a charge pipe (i did once becasue i forgot to tighen the t-bolt :( ) the A/C lines in the WRX is tucked along the fire wall in the back. For the charge pipe to blow off and take out a A/C "could" happen but not likly. This is my guess..

He was trying to show off and make as much power as he could so he turned up the boost. I know he was showing off becuase his whole car screams "LOOK AT ME!" because of how ridiculous the car looked im guessing he did indeed have N02. The pipe that blew off is the FMIC pipe that goes to the throttle body. Im going to say that either a nitrous back fire or too much boost caused the pipe to blow and it took out the nitrous line with it.
