took advantage of the warm weather today and I was using this new sand blaster for about an hour today. blasting my ford 8.8 rear end

i'm pretty happy with it for $50 at sears. but i've never used a high end one to compare it to. had mixed reviews on the sears site. just a china tool, have to adjust the ceramic tip as recommended online and then it works good and rarely gets clogged.

i think it consumes a lot of air but my 60 gallon kobalt air compressor kept up with it great.

Post some pics of the rear... I have been looking to get a cheap little blasting setup, I would LOVE to see the results, and know about how long it took you to get the results.

I wont be painting mine for a while because I have to do some welding on it here in a couple weeks. I'm not going to spend too much extra time on it being its under the car but hopefully just get the rust off and paint it black.

but here is a before and after from another rx7 guy

sorry, I wanted to see how well the sand blaster worked and how long the sand blasting took.
