because the shut down area has no prep on it except the rubber from the vht and burnouts, just like a good street spot would have

guess it depends.. it you block the street off or run a closed one with no houses or anything around id rather do that than a track backwards.. I mean hittin a deer sucks but its alot better than smacking a concrete barrier head on at the big end of the track.. but i see ur point. id say no prep allowed at the start would be about the same

they arent even running to the 1/8th marker, so they have probably 1000ft or better to shut down, thats not THAT bad

the almost crash at 4:00 tho was really close to the concrete divider. dude did a good job of sorta keeping it under control.
