I am running mine to 9200 on the ARP big bolts...7/16th's...don't want to spin it any higher without a better bolt.

yeah definitely not daily driven



boostedsohc's car is reved in the 9's, not sure of his limiter exactly and it never blew up at 475whp - but he also stays off the limiter a lot more than most higher horsepower civics

i believe my limiter was at 9100 on the last setup. i stayed off the limiter for the most part. but any street pulls it was on the limiter in 1st 2nd and 3rd.
with good valve train you can rev the piss out of them with no real issues. JFK's SOHC that made 790WHP was taken to 10,200. never dropped a valve or floated any.

and that car seemed like it ran like complete garbage out of boost. so def not daily driven

Yeah, valvetrain is not normally the issues with high revs on these cars if you have a decent spring in it. It is the rod bolts that take the most abuse.
