Are any of you guys running 5/8 wheels studs with the stud sleeves? If so what size is the hole opening in your wheels? I had my wheels setup for regular 5/8 studs not thinking anything about the sleeves that go on them and now my wheels wont fit.... so yeah any help appreciated

Sleeve? Guess mine don't have those... Or are you referring to the aluminum spacer between the nut and wheel?

I briefly considered going 5/8" . My mazda has 12mm studs right now and I decided to go 1/2" which is just a tad bit larger. What kinda times are you shooting for with your build?

Strange brand 5/8 studs come with a sleeve that threads on acting like a nut and protecting the threads.

And shotting for really fuckin fast!

Thats weird, I bought all strange stuff, axles and 5/8 studs and I didnt have those parts, I just slide the wheel right over the stud and it has a aluminum spacer "basically thick washer" and the lug nut, thats it.. that must be for a wheel that has a 3/4 dia hole maybe? call up strange they are AWESOME to talk to on the phone and super helpfull.. btw you going out in desmoines for new years I might in town?

yeah they thread into the back of the flange and all the way tight

That that sleeve must be so the wheel doesnt get chewed up by the threads of the stud. Mine have a shank and 2 seperate threads on each end, then use a nylock nut on the back side of the axle flange. So your must look just like a long 5/8 bolt?

yeah just like a regular bolt.. it must be somethin Dave does special. he is rather particular on things
