I follow a lot of HT builds, this is a pretty nice one with a bar.

I wired a house for a local developer here in DM (Larson & Larson). He didn't have a bar in the actual theater though. Had 3 teirs similar to that one with the same style lighting in the floor. Also had a dance floor (huge) and a bar that easily had $100k into the woodwork. Probably get's used once a year I bet. Some of the houses I've been in since I've been in construction, make you just realize you're on a whole different level than some.

Yea, I want the works in my own, popcorn machine and all. Which is the most miniscule of details when it comes to the room treatments, amplifiers, and custom crossovers I have yet to touch on. Yea know, you go to best buy the best center channel they have is overpriced, but its what $350? One crossover of 3 for the center channel I want to build is $250. Sometimes I think cars would be a cheaper hobby.

I agree with the recliners. Your step dads place looks really nice, but then Im disappointed with the choice for in wall speakers. Makes for a clean install though.

there is no super highend equipment.... its just a nice set up... all the speakers including the 2 12" subs are klipsch and they are all pushed by just a pioneer receiver, no external amp or anything... the projector is full 1080p i forget the brand off hand but it cost more by itself than anything else in the room haha
its used mostly to watch UFC and the occasional movie

Nothing like a good home theater to ruin any movie you see in the real Movie Theaters...
