I'm actually committing (slightly) to this silly Mustang I got.

I'm hoping for 600-ish whp or something for next year to start with.

I'm getting:
63# injectors (http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-04-svt-cobra-fuel-delivery-fuel-injectors-c-16_261_264/sieman-deka-63lb-uscar-high-imp-injectors-p-17392)
MAFia Maf (http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-04-svt-cobra-induction-maf-c-16_267_270/diablosport-maf-ia-for-03-04-cobra-p-5549)

I need some input on the fuel pump and how to make it all work.

As far as I've read, I can get a set of GT fuel pumps, but I'll need a dual FPDM to make them work together.
Is this: http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-04-svt-cobra-fuel-delivery-dual-fpdm-wire-harness-c-16_261_2521/lethal-performance-dual-fpdm-wire-harness-kit-p-14834 necessary?
Do you need a modified "hat" to run the dual GT pumps?
The pumps I'm looking at are: http://www.lethalperformance.com/03-04-svt-cobra-fuel-delivery-fuel-pumps-ford-c-16_261_263_4443/ford-gt-supercar-fuel-pumps-set-of-2-p-8159

The whole "FPDM" and multiple pump situation is new to me.

I know there are a ton of Mustang guys on here. I really don't know shit about these cars, but I'm trying to learn.
Rather than run a boost-a-pump, I figure if I upgrade the system enough to allow for room to grow, it will benefit me in the future. After all... when do you actually STOP modding your race car?
What would you guys suggest?

Well I stock those injectors, unless you feel like paying the $90 extra they are asking.

Look into running a single walbro, the new walbro 400lph pump can suppost 750+whp and is only like $130. If think your year is a returnless system, you could convert it to a return style and it makes your fuel system more flexible.

Or walbro has a new direct drop in single pump for that year and it will support around 600whp perhaps a bit more, i'd have to look it up. Around $180 but its designed to work with the returnless fuel systems which modulate voltage

Its been a long time since I have had a mustang and read anything about mustangs. However I remember people using svt focus pumps. I do not know what they are rated at, but I remember that being a low dollar pump option.

Have you thought about a DW pump? Those seem to be the ticket atm.

Keep in mind I made 580 at the rear wheels on a 2.3 whipple with 60 lb injectors, KB BAP, stock pumps and the wiring upgrade.

Just a cost-effective way to go about it.
