Thought I would toss up some pictures of the latest car I've been building... Quick rundown with some pics. I know I said I hated working under the cowl of a car... Still do. Not sure how I got tricked into building this car.

Iron block 6.0 370 Cu.

I'll try to keep updated as I progress... BTW, I did not cut the hole in the cowl, previous builder did... Blahhh

That Fucker should fly...looks like a nice budget setup without much compromise

That's what you need to do Fiddy.

Pretty simple looking setup, looking forward to seeing how well it performs!

probably a stupid question, but are there any speedbumps you run into putting an LS engine into an early 4th gen Fbody? i wouldnt think so at all, but it just seems not as many people do the swap as you would expect.

Why dont you cut the cowl out? trim it along the bottom of the windshield, and along the bottom under the cowl, and patch it nice, having one done right now opens everything up nice, just as much room as your notch.

Trust me I would cut it all out.. But the guy who owns the car doesn't want it all cut out (doesn't want to go to a to the windshield hood). With that being said, I'm gonna just put the plastic back over the top of it and you won't be able to see it. This isn't all bad though, because its a lot less work for me.....

Different K member, motor mounts, and trans mounts. Pretty sure they are all interchangable though.

BTW, very sick car. Is this going to be another grudge/street racing car?

Is that the same car that was a carb'd Lt1?

...unfortunately yes. But it was a SBC motor... It was built to run the Mean Street class years ago....

Yeah... Not my car... No exact plans for it just yet. We plan to do some early testing then decide what we're gonna do with it...
