Rules:

Minimum $25 lock in.
If one person backs out the other gets the lock in money.
Car breakage or selling your car does not get you out of the race
You can reschedule within 6 months but only IF both agree
Rain or snow has to be rescheduled
If the race doesn't happen within 6 months of the original date the person holding the lock in money keeps it or it goes to a specified person, organization, charity, etc but NOT given back to the car owners!

Yeah, it broke. Should be back together by spring. I'll be down, but I really want to get it to the track first and dialed in. There's so many changes that have been done/ will be done that it's hard to tell where I'm sitting. More than likely, we'll probably just show up during his race with Brent. He has had some tough luck thats for sure, I'd have to say his last track visit was quite succesfull though. Granted he did not set the world on fire due to a snapped axel at the start of the night he did make a new decent runs prior to that (car wasnt missing quite like it was at the prior visits). I know right before he put it away for the year it was running pretty damn good though so I dont think you'll be hearing any excuses from him other than work which is quite understandable. Hopefully he does get it near 100% figured out next year because it has been a long time waiting to see what it can do!

I never really had a good clean run last year. Best run I had was when I had a 1.65 60 ft and was on 7 cylinders. Ran a 12.52 @ 104 (was trapping 110-111 every other pass) on the 100 shot. Got a 255lph pump now so I can run the 150 jets from time to time and I think im going to pick up a new clutch and a set of 325-50-15 MT ET streets also since the ones I have now are shot. With that I'm aiming from 11.9's or so this coming year.

I hope so, I think last year If I had all 8 firing on that pass I should have been around the 12.3-12.2 range pretty easily, so hopefully the new tires, clutch, and 50HP extra on the bottle should be able to get me down to the 11's but only time will tell.

I will have the gopro going for both of them. I've known both of these guys for a few years and have no worries of either backing out since its all in good fun. Just because we arent talking shit to each other and racing for a high amount of money doesnt mean the races arent going to happen. And why in the hell would I paypal someone I've never met, let alone ever even seen in my life when I trust both of the guys and their word??? Now if I was racing someone else for a decent amount and had my doubts that it would ever go down then thats a different story, of course I would want a third party to hold the cash until after the race.

Ryan, you can do whatever you please if you would like to delete the two runs I have go for it, I have no problem keeping it between just me and them on our own time. I see no need to paypal a complete stranger because they feel no one will back out that way. I have nothing to hide nor do I have excuses. If something comes up we will reschedule and go from there, i know unexpected things happen. I'm not to worried about this never happening since we are doing it all out of fun (winner with the money buys beer, or in sparkles case skittles of course). If it was a grudge race between other, Ex: you and brent, or you and tyler, then I am all for a third party holding the cash and making sure the run happens. Working on a 9". The clutch is what actually let go at the track come to find out. Just finished a T56 swap with a Comp 6 puck ceramic disc. Shouldn't be an issue anymore. The rear is now the weak link. My old car got into the high 10s on a bone stock 10 bolt rear, but that was through an auto. I want to be able to lay the wood to this manual at the line and not have to worry about a part of the driveline failing. I'm still waiting to see a time out of him that's faster than my time with a stock 305 in the car, so I'm not too worried.

Also, while it does sound just as nasty complete, the mid pipe is out of the car. You're hearing open long tubes. That's why it sounds obnoxious. You can see it leaning up against my sand blast cabinet. Soon as it's not dark, and I get that all wrapped up, I'll take a better video for you guys.

although im starting to lean towards wanting to do these races at a midnight mania or something, after our last outing in cr its looking like we need to find MUCH better spots to dig race, its getting way too risky for me..

we agree'd to reschedule a date near our june 2nd date because we were both busy that weekend...and now he is saying he doesnt know when the car will even be ready...i'll take my money, my shit IS ready and HAS BEEN ready
