Thought you might... I know this is a car site but everyone eats so i thought i would throw it out there. There is a place on center point road, between the hyvee and european motorsports called Woodys Discount Foods. The guy owns a huge factory or something like that and they have some damn good deals in that place! We had a party a few weeks ago, had about 40-50 people there and fed everyone for like $300. Brats, burgers, chicken wings, chips etc... Even after feeding the dogs there were a little leftovers.

Went back this morning for some freezer food for ourselves. Got few pound of chickens breats chunks for like $10, 2lbs-3lbs of chicken patties for like $4, giant bag of chicken wings for like $10 (probably 200 or so wings). Lots of stuff like that there, most of the stuff is pre cooked. You spend a certain amount and they give you lots of free stuf. He remembered us and we got two free gallos of milk, 3 free loafs of bread, a couple free pops and then they have a big selection of "personal" sized stuff you get 5 free for every like $25 you spend or something like that.


we filled our deep freeze for like $150 and it will last us 2-3 months probably. We dont eat it as meals every day or anything but something quick or to take t work for lunch or for get togethers, stuff like that, it is awesome.

if this is the place im thinking of the main warehouse is right outside marengo, he runs a premade sandwich, hotdog, etc company that delivers to gas stations and shit (like deli express)

yeah, his big place is near marengo. He does a lot of that stuff and a lot of school lunch stuff, just massive amounts of pre-cooked food. A lot of the stuff he sells reminds me of Prairies lunches! He sells the egg patties, sausage patties, crousants and that stuff already made into sandwiches, taste exactly like the ones prairie has/had. Same for the egg rolls, hamburger patties and chicken patties. Really nice husband/wife that spoil the shit out of Landon when we go in there. Hahaha

while your in center point, look for some iowa made beef jerky at the gas station. its the best . some locker in waterloo or evansdale area makes it. doesn't get distributed any further south of center point.
