Interesting swap, its definitely unique. They must really love those v6s.

Was a little disappointed to find out it was from the old SHO Taurus but it's still a cool build.

it takes a lot of work to be different. Its interesting but its more work and less potential kinda seems like a waste of time

I like it since I liked SHO's back in the day. I know I'd still rather see a boneyard 5.3L and 4l60 combo for cheap speed, but it's still neet to see.
that thing is awesome, always wondered why ford didnt do a SHO powered mustang, it would have been badass.

Ugh. That looks like a lot of work.
I'm all for a good "project" but man...
My attention span is nowhere near sufficient enough to keep all of that in order.

I wonder how much easier it would be to stick it in a Fox?

That's a lot of work and not a very good payoff I bet. Just shows you what happens when you're broke...but own a welder.

The SHO v6 was good for 400 hp and 10k rpm without all the accessories when it was designed to be in the mr2/fiero/nsx competitor then they killed the car and had all the engines bought from yamaha. They had to go somewhere. As for the engine on boost it should respond pretty well as quite a few in the SHO community have tried this with good results. It's just kind of a bitch to work on is all.

that is a pretty sweet swap. Any 1/4 mile times?
