Sounds absolutely ludicrous Joe! That BOV at the end sounds awesome.
Harold's car sounds pretty good too. Not bad for a 100% stock longblock/TB/MAF car :)

Thats an cool view at the end of the track
Just curious but are all cars required to be able to stop on their own in the event the parachute doesn't deploy?

Well people are using parachutes because they have lightweight front brakes/rotors/calipers and skinny front tires and are trapping 175mph+ . Just was curious are these cars that are approaching 200mph trap speeds able to stop in time at the end of the track if the parachute doesn't deploy?

depending on the track alot of the time they never pull them.. but some tracks have really short shudowns. when we run the promod at eddyville they dont even get pulled all the time for the long shut down and long swooping track exit.

Here's a 200mph pass from the 2010 drag week when the chute didn't open. Flat spotted all 4 tires

NHRA requires a shoot to be mounted and usable when reaching trap speed of 150mph. Most guys dont use them untill they are reaching speeds of 160-170 ish unless there trying to save the brakes, or on a short shut down track. OR your name is EDDYB!
