I have some stock tail lights that I want to be all red. I hate the altezza that the stock genesis coupe tail lights come with. I want to get them painted instead of tinted because I think the painting looks cleaner. Anyone in CR that does this?

Fifdy used to do some kind of tail light tint. I want a tail light tint job on my s10, whatever he does seems to be the only way to get a nice gloss finish.

Painted as in? Painting over certain parts and clearing the light? I could also spray a red tint to make it look like a standard light..never done that before though

What ever needs to be done to make it all red but still have the glossy finish. LMK when your available and ill drop off my extra set of lights. How much do you charge?

not hard to do yourself really. I have done a couple sets a couple different ways. I did a neon once, put the ugle altezzas in the oven at low temp for a short time to loosen the adhesive. Pulled the clear cover off, taped off the lenses and painted all the chrome black did another set silver. Did the same thing but lef the chrome and painted the inside of the lense with candy red, a few coats did the job and looked pretty good.

Fifdy = money well spent...

Well I wouldn't recommend painting over the whole light without leaving any openings, so I would recommend either tinting the light black or I could give the red tint a shot...ill do it for $75

Ya red tint would work. Here's an example of how it turns out (reverse and turn signal are tinted)

right on! i did mine on my xtreme and they made the truck imo...the front marker lights too...looks killer with blacked out emblems

I debadged the tail gate. Will eventually get to the rest. We'll have to have a murdered out sdime photoshoot.
