Anyway just a quick recap. I'll start off with saying I upped my personal best time at the track, I had one good miraculous run of 12.51 @ 109.5 w/ 1.79 60ft (just gotta get the slip uploaded tomorrow, not at my house currently). I went up there did a small few second 3k hold burnout, staged and just slowly eased into the throttle and punched it, the car just grabbed and booked it with full top end power and it felt AWESOME to get a clean no issue pass in. All other passes were 12.9 @ 109, so tires and gears will put me at low 12's all day from my assumption (pretty good one too :-) ). Go ahead and update my time Ryan!
Finally got to meet Ed and hang out with some of the other guys and it was a really good time. Mr. Borhen finally saw the sky in his car and didn't break anything (*ahem* George :-p ) I have the run on my little hand held and I will be getting that video up tomorrow. Was fun setting up Ed vs Fiddy for their little bet, just to clarify, it wasn't for a hundred dollars, that was my bad on that part. But it was an awesome and a hell of a close race. I believe Fiddy got his new best time as well that run against Ed. Regardless, all the 10.5 cars looked great and ran really well. I don't know who won but Allgo's, Torrey's, Scotts and despite Ed's being a hair slower than the competition today, all the cars ran good (as far as what I could see).
Brian's gotta get that Cobra tuned and then it will start hauling ass into the 11's, I just know it.
Jake/Deimos gotta get that truck figured out baby, our race didn't count for shit lol. But it will be a beast when its figured out. Street truck, lol.
Sherm, I'll try getting that DSM video up, that thing was hauling ass on the back half.
Other than that, there was a lot of decent cars and if anyone else wants to chime in about the day, feel free. I had a lot of fun doing some runs and taking video and just hanging out in general. Well have to get an IAF event next year and everyone go up and have fun with our toys. I'll eventually get out there with the big boys, gotta pay to play!
