I still would like to know if anyone out there in Iowa has a faster manual. Seems like there should be a quicker one out there. there's even plenty of imports out there hitting 9's rowing through the gears but just not in Iowa. but until someone comes forward, congrats Casey.

At my work I deal directly with the general public and literally get jokingly asked at least once a week if i'm "Casey Martin the golfer?!"

Had fun tonight though. Made 2 passes- 10.32@131 (missed 4th gear) and 10.40@132 clean but the car was a lot more heat soaked.

Had a friend make a couple passes which just helped me to appreciate that i've managed to set my car up to my own liking and that its not a universal truth that it'll work for everyone..

I called my 10.3x, now i'm just mad it wasn't a 10.2x because the car had that in it if I could've just done my job.

you need to get a real nice camera right behind your car when it takes off, that'd be cool. thats a great 1/8th mile time. my best 1/8th is 6.96 .

Nice pass Casey congrats, Ryan dont hold your breath on the "On Top" just yet well for a manual I guess your right, nobody knows exactly what the 98 has run N/A...lol guess we will see next year at the IAF race.

That is a awesome pass nice work man!! Im pretty sure Allgo's car could get it done too, I also know there are 8 second all motor small block stick cars out there in iowa, wont meet your rules though.. Hell my 97 buick lesabre might even be considered a race car

good point there, but no Casey does not have the fastest stick car.. Although I am partial to his because its a cobra and because its just badass.

IF you visit the track as much as I have you will see all sort of combinations, I've seen tremec fox bodies in the 9's around here, ozark mountain super shifters well into the 8's with no power adders.
