Trying to help my buddy sell his car.

This is the same friend of mine who I posted his 94 z28 for, as he simply isn't into the whole car thing very much.. the z28 had a lot of minor issues that were piling on and he took this car on trade from a local friend/and his dad who bought it needing a headgasket for cheap, and then his mom and dad drove it. Him and his dad do a lot of buying/fixing - so nothing unusual about the car.

The car honestly should be considered under "Good" however, being that he did not expect the camaro to sell for more than 2800, he doesn't feel the desire to hold out for a big amount. I'm going to post the car on craigslist for $3000 asking.

His bottom dollar is going to be at $2400, that's less than fair and this car is easily fair condition.
He's had it for about 6 months now, simply didn't really want it to begin with (not a fan of 5speeds, wants a grand prix or small truck) No big BS excuses for getting rid of it.

It has good tires, brand new exhaust, fresh headgasket.
Starts every time, drives great.. I'm probably the only one that has ever gotten on it in it when I drove it when he was looking at it. Pulls great, turbo spools great. Full leather interior, minor tear in drivers seat.

Sunroof was left out of options when bluebooking since it is inoperable (but is shut).
Heat works fantastic, A/C is not working but it is all there. I've never checked to see if its just needing charged or compressor work. Power windows work great, power locks work.

Has cruise control which works great. Tons of room surprisingly with the hatch and folding down the seats, easily carries two bikes comfortably, even managed to fit a pretty damn big futon in it.. was very surprised.

Stereo works, has cassette and factory multi-Cd changer that works.
Still has original owners manual and all for the car including the stereo's security code.

Lights all work, no dash lights to my knowledge.
Clean title.

Very minor body issues, front drivers fender where it meets the bumper, I can't remember if its the bumper or the fender that has slight cracking/cosmetic damage. Not from a wreck or anything, looks like someone just bumped into it with something. Nearly no rust on the car. Paint is about a 7/10. Some chips/flaws.. what is to be expected.

I probably make it sound worse than it is, it's a great car and very reliable.. Only had one problem with it while he's had it, which turned out to be the clutch cable was replaced.

If you're looking for a decently priced winter car / general daily driver that is a bit nicer than the typical rusty winter beater - this would be a great choice.

Reliable car that is fun/different, and gets good gas mileage.

For anyone on here, $2200 FIRM as mentioned.. Car will be on CL for $3000 asking

If interested let me know and I'll get you into contact with him.

Posting here again, he still has it.

I just put new plugs in it for him and changed the oil in it.
He told me the lowest he'll take for it rock bottom firm is $2200.

Really is a steal in my opinion, books much higher and runs great and is reliable and pretty quick from when I drove it.

Would be a really fun winter-car.

So $2200 is the rock bottom price, only being shown to you IAF people and friends of his. Craigslist price is still now listed at 2700

I've never known them to be problematic.
This one has done pretty alright. Surprisingly easy to work on. The engine bay reminds me of a DSM.

Reminds you of a DSM because of turbo placement. (working on putting a turbo in a saab now) this one is a different year so many its not as bad. My old roomate has one and it has the most messed up brake downs. I hate working on the saab, nothing they do make since.

Anyhow not bashing this car or the sale seems like a very good price for the car. I have just learned to hate saabs becuase my subaru spoils me.
