Cruise to the Woods - October 2nd

A friend of mine told me about this cruise/car show. I'd never heard of it but it claims to be Iowas largest car show with over 1400 cars last year. Entry is only $10. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing it this year to check it out.

Went to the show on Sunday. Around 1300 cars were at the Ft. Dodge fairgrounds. Pretty sure I'll be doing this again next year. Here are some pics, we probably only got through half of the cars there. Bunch of the normal stuff was there tri-fives, Mustangs, Camaros, rat rods, more Mustangs, these were a few of the ones that caught my eye.

this show was definitely worth the trip. The park we drove through was beautiful. Even though I slept most of the trip

He lives around here. Was built by 417 Motorsports in Missouri. Same place that did the TT Durmax powered Nova Wagon for Chad Maskery. Some pretty neat stuff comes outta that shop. LSX powa in a Fox body.

No, he's friends with him though. The guys name is Blake that owns the place. He's the one with the TTLSX Nissan 240. Guy with the Mustang goes by Unstang and is actually a pretty cool guy. Chad M=RustyLS1

Thats where I've seen that name! Thought I knew it from somewhere...I've seen his posts but never realized he was from Iowa.

Ya he has/had an nbm ss. I saw it in Indy at world ford challenge X and remember it being the first modified fourth gen I'd seen up close. I thought the subframe connectors were sweet! haha

Cruise to the Woods is a good event, too bad it ends up in a dirt field. Took me a whole day to get the dust out of everywhere.

Just a street car for now...I wanted to drive it, enjoy & make see if I liked it, before I put cage in it.
