those sly bastards diluted my e85 . i'm sure I won't knock but i still don't like people messing with my fuel :(

test from today shows e70, north liberty

I'd guess it would hurt power potential some, but on the other hand it's probably a little easier on fuel pumps, lines, etc.

The difference between 85 and 70 is minimal, you really won't notice a difference. Unless you are on the crazy hairy nutz edge of E85.

tested north liberty kum and go a couple weeks ago and it was at e70

on a side note, I was watching a free live tuning seminar yesterday. The tuner stated he had done some testing on the effectiveness of e85 vs some leaded race fuels and he was able to make more power on e85 than c16 but slightly less than q16. that was on an evo iirc. i was surprised. i was previously under the impression is was about as good as 110 octane.
