Awesome 1st post bro. Don't even have the decency to wash the thing, maybe spend 2 seconds and vac it out, or perhaps at least hide your smokes.

I was always told "only a total jackass would try to sell something dirty". He proved that point to me once, he put a car up for sale for $1k obo, dirty as hell and after a week, no sale. He spent about an hour cleaning it up, inside and out and then listed it for $1800 obo, sold the next day for $1500.

Alright guys, I live on a GRAVEL ROAD. I wash it and once I get home it's dirty already.... And I'm not going to LIE and say I've never smoked in there I smoke cigarettes everyday in it I'll add this in there, before you buy I'll pay to have it WASHED and the inside will be professionally cleaned and I'll have the interior shampood. Hows that sound? I'm not going to waste money cleaning it out until someone buys it. I am broke. So thanks for being haters.

I think there is something wrong with your caps lock button, it seems to get stuck intermittently as you type. Hater.

I would never buy a car that has been smoked in everyday...you'll never get rid of that fucking stench.

Well man, I'm not going to lie about it. Like I said. But with a good shampooing and some work put into it it'll be good. Like I said, if someone wants it It'll be spotless.

No I can guarantee I've been in some cars that have been professionally cleaned after being smoked in a shit ton and no it does not come out, it only covers it for a month till the heat in the car brings the stink back out.

So lemme get this straight, rather than coming here and making a new user thread and introducing yourself you decide you'd be "that guy" and buck the trend. You put your dirty ass car up for sale and get irritated when people call you on it. I assure you, people are just going to mess with you now.

looks like it would make a decent hornet. Just for pictures sake, i would spend $2-$3 and give it a whores bath. I use to live in gravel, had to drive 4-5 miles on gravel to get to my house. I am just saying, you might be surprised at how much decent pictures may help. Espescially this time of year, when kids are all going back to school and buying cars.

It is also a good idea to introduce yourself whe joining a new forum. Nothing more annoying than having a ton of people join a forum, post something for sale and then take off.

It would also help to know before buying a car how much the owner actually knew about cars. I wouldnt want to buy a 5 speed car from some kid who lives life a quarter mile at a time

I used to live on gravel.

I never have gotten the smoke smell to completely leave a car either.

"Black Ice" tree air fresheners somehow work pretty good. As long as the smell isn't super strong to begin with.

Otherwise, they make "bombs" that will get rid of anything but the smell of a snake that crawled in the dash, died, and chilled out for a month in 100* weather.
I don't think many things will instantly kill a smell like that.

mythbusters went to great lengths to remove a dead pig smell from a car and that failed

Ive gone to ridiculous lengths to clean a car, and it will still have a hint of the factory smell. That was my Silver Talon. Removed interior aside from hvac ducting. Everything scrubbed, sound deadening removed, floors painted black. Carpet first pressure washed (you can watch brown water blast out and once its clear your good!), then shampood, plastic panels all washed, lots of new elctronics installed. Anyway, that goes on for a while. But I had I replaced the blower motor and somehow flushed the ducting, it may have removed the dsm smell. Wasnt a smoker car, DSM's have a distinct smell and it brought back bad memories, so i wanted it gone. Now the s10 still has new car smell, im good with that!

It's right up there with swiggle. It's a Thang thing you wouldn't understand........ Or would you?

Drifte

The swiggle, easily my favorite tool. Wish I could remember more cool Thang quotes. I do remember one war story that ended with "you see me no soot, I see you you dead."

my uncle bought a car from a pig farmer cheap. never quite got all the smell out but most of it. you could smell it when you first got in but after 5 minutes you were used to it.
