on a side note, I grew up around horses, we had 60 of them at one time when I was a kid.

It is pretty rare for one to stay laying down like that. they normally only lay down sometimes when sleeping and when people come around they stand up and if they fall down they hardly ever stay down like that. wonder if it was over-worked. even then I've had horses completely exhausted and they don't lay down, they will run themselves to death.

its not good for horses to lay down when exhausted. cuts off blood flow or something like that.

having cousins that are really big into competeing in rodeos is useful for something!

Holy Shit wtf do you do with 60 horses lol I had a neighbor that had 60 cats we called her the cat lady and her house smelled like piss

We bred them and sold them. Also trained them to ride. And we raced them at horseshows. We normally probably had 20 but it did get up to 60 at one time. Once a cowboy, now a city ricer.

Thats crazy I woulda never guessed that you raised horses. My old man has 3 mules that he keeps at my place all summer to graze I ride them once in a great while but never really got into the whole deal too much
