Suspension opinions?

Wondering what u guys would suggest to run on my DA? Im working a good job now, but i refuse! to spend $1,000 on struts and springs so to speak. Here are some thoughts that i had, but im still not sure. help?

1. tokico blues with blox lowering springs- 2.5 up front, 2.0 in the rear... $500
2. KYB GR-2s with neuspeed race springs- unknown drop... $500
3. tokico whites with ground controls coil-overs- adjustable... $800+
4. Blox tuner full coil-over setup- preload adjustable and ride height adjustable... $750

I had adjustable kyb agx struts with b+g springs on my Gtp and I loved them

Cheap AND effective.

I had GR2s and SSC springs on the Regal. No complaints.

actually I was wondering this myself. I'd like to lower my hatch about an inch but I don't want the ride to get too bad, that short wheelbase is rough enough as is. A friend has type r susp on his 95 and it lowered it about an inch and rides good, would that work or be worth the money on a 96?

See, now i looked at those and thought about it. But when i made a post about them elsewhere, all the honda guys said not to get em because they ride rough as shit and their meant for the circuit, not the street..... Basically, EVERYBODY says to do "koni yellows with ground controls" cuz itll lower your car where ever u want, and still ride decent. But after pricing those, id be spending almost $1,000 on slip-ons, and for that price i can get a full coil-over setup. Then everyone says to stay away from full coil-overs if u drive ur car in the winter cuz they seize up. IDK, sum1 help me im going bonkers!!!!!! also, so u guys know what kind of wheel gap i want, these are the wheels i plan on running: 15x8 w/ +25 offset. with a 205/50/15 http://www.inlinefour.com/stwhemabl.html

i'd go with something rear wheel drive. not really a suspension suggestion, just a moral one.

I run the megan's on my rx7, trevor ran them on the evo and liked them, I think jesse had them on the supra too. They are noticeably stiffer then factory but I don't think they are that bad and I'm i'm older and pickier then some of you young guns. But i also run them on 17" rims. the larger the rim the rougher its going to be. That being said you can order softer springs for the megans but you have to pay extra as they have to be sold with the default springs so to get softer you have to purchase a second set of springs. Its nice not to do any assembly, just take them out of the box and bolt them on.

That would probably be the smartest idea as I'm not really going for performance. Did it bottom out at all?

Rode exactly the same. Just gave I a nice stance. Rears I left alone, I was always hauling stuff.

In response to spring cutting...

I cut the springs on my girlfriends BMW. They are Eibach Pro springs on Bilsteins. No difference in ride quality at all from before and after. We took 2-3 coils off them.

Sits like that and rides great. I recommend cutting if on a budget, although stock springs may have a lot of travel.

The suspension of car should be good. Due to smooth suspensions of car one can protect from street's digs and the journey becomes comfortable. The engine and the body of car protects from smooth suspension. And a high speed can be achieve on the digs.
