Need to pull an axle and replace a seal, but kind of stuck here. I should be able to push the axle in and pull the c clip out without having to remove those springs and plates that sit in the carrier, correct? I can't get the axle to budge, do I just need to hammer it or clamp it in?

Any ABS sensors that were still installed that needed to be removed first to get that extra 1/4"+ of movement?
