CTS-V hooked up better, GT-500 had the trap speed. Either way what a shitty time for both cars. Road & Track sucks..... Id blow both those cars away with my 2001 Blazer 4.3. Now that bitch is FASTTTTTTTTT.

Haven't heard of them being an issue. Atleast not nearly as bad as the original cts-v's. I'd love a new v sedan but for that money I think I'd be buying a c6z. You and your 4 doors

So strange I think CTS-Vs are the only car ever produced that I like better in a 4 door. I saw one driving and hoped I just saw it wrong. Nope pretty ugly. Coupes are sex though.

Not really sure what I just watched. Looks like after the mustang gets a little ahead and then the cadi lets off over the crest. I would like to see a nice road track comparison though.

I even watched the video twice. Maybe I need to book a visit to my eye doctor or something. I'm missing the part where "the GT500 smokes the caddy big time". Yeah, the Mustang got ahead by a car length and the caddy driver took a nap in between shifts.

At the 2:25 mark on the video turn up your computers volume, listen for the 3 honks, and watch as the GT500 smokes the caddy. If a few bus lengths ahead only qualifies as a car length ahead, then yes you need your eyes checked... Rewatch video fast forward to 2:25 mark until end of video, watch GT500 steadily pull away, and call eye doctor. That is your task for the day.

I emailed the link to my eye doctor. He said he saw the same thing as me. He also sent it to his hearing specialist buddy. That guy told him you need to book an appointment. And it's ok. I understand your confusion about bus lengths vs car lengths because of your extensive relationship with short buses. It's cool. I get it.

Yup thats what I was referring to when I said after the crest the cadi coasts while the stang keeps going. But yes before the V lets off the mustang is still in front. Definitely strange video... need the same driver laying down time trials, cause we know that mustang wouldn't pull that far ahead otherwise. Thats like a honda vs a lambo, get real.
