No more track visits for this car, I have proved a point and since the car is not allowed at cfr anymore no need to drag it. I had point skinnies for it that I was braking out for the june race but I already have them for sale.. anyone interested they are spare tires out of a gto that are 17inch with hoosiers on them, tires cost me 190 a peice and the rims where 160 I will sell for 475.. I ll post a pic

Casey that corvette will drag that cobra sorry..the point was not to you, the point was drove the car there not on a trailor like most people(you to lol..) and drove home at 180mph with the air on. Ask anyone there I drove the car down to caseys filled it up and drove straight back into the track to the staging lanes went right up and went 10.40s no cool down needed. my best 60 foot was a 1.63 and I had to abort the pass cause the clamp came off the exchaust, so that would have been a 10 teen or a 10 20 pass, with 20 gallons of fuel in the tank. You want to meet at cordova I am all about it, bring some cash and you will need a little bit bigger shot then that to..lol good luck tuning that car with the spray to..

As far as tuning goes, I have a proEFI standalone sitting in a box in my basement. Once installed any and all tuning issues are handled..Maybe then i'll man up and set a date for Cordova. I'll drive the car there too!

As far as having a car compete with the Z from an all around standpoint, I definitely wouldn't start with a car like mine. Chances are i'll never have any car that will do that. I'm ok with that. I have a car that beat a built motor, supercharged C6 Z06 in a drag race. Its beating the cars that shouldn't be beat that makes it fun to me.

I feel like with clearly defined rules/guidelines and someone there to somewhat keep order it'll be fine. Its ultimately just a bracketed race with (hopefully) decently matched cars.

And for the cars that aren't going to finish towards the top, theres other trophies up for the grabs. I had hoped that would keep most everyone happy..

I see what your sayin but this is not the manual run-off, its a street car shootout and I think takin out auto cars would be discriminating, but I do agree with having a possibility of a faster bracket.
