I think if you had sticky tires we'd be a pretty good race.

I have yet to test the ability of my car since redoing the return style fuel system. I've haven't had any launch issues after the engine is at operating temp so far. Well see how she goes up at CFR this weekend, gonna run it Saturday to see what I can get down. Hoping mid/low 12's with a good stalled launch. And I will get video of it too!
I'm just more excited to get my other engine back from D&R here soon, for what I'm wanting to build for my other car, its gonna be a beast :-)

you're still gonna lose, I still think you should race the ten second mustang.

Lol Jake, how fast is the guys Red Mustang Cobra at work? And ye have little faith Jake, I know my Firebird is decent, I've just never had the privilege of actually running a lot of people on the street to see where my car falls. All I know its easily capable of consistent low 13's/high 12's on shitty ass street tires. With better tires, I would hope consistent 12's.
and DD, what has your car ran in the 1/4?

I think kitch wants a lane caleb. BTW Chris doesn't like that I call him ten second mustang because one day his street tres hooked up with his 347 and a he ran a 10.90 I keep asking if he wants to race but he turns me down like i am kidding that I only got a small block or something.

12.9 is my best time with a 1.9 60ft. That was old MT DR's. Since then have ET streets, torque arm (after breaking 2), trans mount/bushing. Other than that consistent 13.0's generally. I would expect a mid 12 if I could 60' for shit. My car hooks much better on the street though, anyone who's seen it run street and track can attest to that.

Yeah would definitely be a good race. And I'm expecting the same too when I decide to run it again soon.
