a 4G64 "wide block" engine... Not having any luck finding anything locally, so I thought just in case someone has an old busted up Mitsu van/truck or a D50 or something laying around. Got desperate enough that I called the assholes at Sunline but, as usual the guy was a complete prick and refused to believe what I was telling him as far as year/make/model that would have it. Told him mistu truck he said no, I said they came in the Dodge D50 as well and he said, "I am pretty sure they didn't". We went back and forth a tiny bit and eventually he just said "NOPE!" and hung up on me....
Don't care on the condition, just need something. the wide block version should be 13.25" across on the lower bellhousing bolts in case you aren't sure... I really only need a short block but, whatever you got, Let Me Know...

Right!! I am pretty sure they have a couple of them to be honest because I know I had gotten engine parts for my brother-in-laws D50 from them a couple times when he had it...

Been there, done that. That is where I find a lot of the stuff I get. Only like 3-4 in Iowa that are reasonably priced. Talked to Piper, they have a complete engine for $450 if it is good but they don't know the condition of it. I'd rather buy a junk one for 1/2 the price since I will be rebuilding it anyways...

all D50's had wideblocks except the 2.0 five speeds like mine, and i think the early 3 speed autos. look around on projectzerog.com and hotrodcoffeeshop.com. i see them pop up on there a lot

You could call boot hill in Iowa falls, they are pretty cheap but that is quite a drive for you.
