I took a few videos in 1080p with my new camera the other day. Here is a quick clip. I have a few more mounts on the way.

I bought a mount to attach to a bar, bought the suction cup mount, and a harness you can wear and it mounts on your chest.

It is warmer out! I have plans for getting some different shots on the bike, car, and quad. I found that the 960p settting works very good if i want a wider view. The 1080p video you see is only 117 degree of view while the 960p is 170 degrees and taller.

Also says better FPS if you use the lower res options. City just had the backhoe out in Fairfax on this big pile of dirt. What they didnt realize, is they just cut out about 4 awesome ramps I have to go hit now. Probably more Mountain bike material than the dbike. If its not too muddy this weekend it will have to come out. If it rains saturday though, I may not even bother to go out.

Nice I was going to order one this week too!! Wheres the best deals on these cameras right now?

Video looks sweet, amazing how clear it is and not as much wind noise as I would have thought either

i only paided 299 for it. you can piece the mounts and options together to make the camera better if you want. (like adding a LCD screen)

i just strapped it to my dog to see what the video looked like lol.

The S turn at 51sec just wanted to give you a heads up that about 3 times last year the owner of that house put gravel on the road.... I live off Indian hill and used to ride it every day. Just a heads up for this year to check that turn.

Good to know. I don't go down it very much because I don't like the idea of going that fast past peoples houses. I just wanted to test the camera on some corners and that's about all CR has for fun roads. I bet that road gets a TON of bikes going up and down it.

I heard about that. I made sure i bought a Class 10 SD card. they are about 2x as much as the basic class 4 cards but the max the class 4 can do is 720p.

The way i see it is that i bought the camera to shoot HD video and i dont want the memory care to be the limiter.

Sucks to hear about you losing everything. Did you look at it on the computer at night or just keep switching cards?
