not aimed toward you dallas but I always wonder why people say it wasn't on full boost or 'conservative tune' etc. I'm thinking well why didn't you run full boost or your race tune if it was so easy so you wouldn't have to have the side note/excuse that your car could be/should be faster.

especially the cars that owners have spent a gazillion hours modifying squeaking out every ounce of power and on the most important day at the track they are like well I didn't run full boost today. the real reason is usually because the owner didn't feel safe with it, didn't feel the motor can handle it or traction issues, drivetrain couldn't handle it, etc, etc . and thats fine, its a fast honda, but it is what it is, on that day, that car is a 10.9 car, no more or no less.
