Posting this for a friend.

He has a 1994 Camaro Z28.
Basically stock.
Does have a Cold Air Intake (he got it for free from another friend of ours) and some type of aftermarket muffler. Sounds like magnaflow to me, not verified though. Does sound pretty decent.

He hasn't done anything to the car with the idea of really going faster.
He only bought it for a fun daily driver as he loves the 'cruising' aspect of a muscle car.
He never beats on it, except for me getting him to race my civic 40-60mph lol, but he seriously never beats on it.

Not hiding anything with it, he had some bad luck with this car.
He bought it from a girl out of Quad Cities last summer for $2800 on a loan.
Gave him a lot of problems from the get-go. Just seems like a lot of things decided to go out at once, however the car has been running great now and has been very reliable lately. Anyway he's going on the road trip with me that I've been speaking of and he's wanting to get something like an S10 / little toyota pickup, or even a civic.

Downlow on the car:
149,xxx miles - going up as its his every day driver.
Runs good and smooth, always starts right up.
Transmission shifts firm and smooth.
Needs a new driverside window motor.. it works but it's pretty finnicky.
Needs headliner.. board is still there, the cloth was torn down however.
Seats are in okay shape, drivers seat does have typical tear.
Not sure of exact brand, but has essentially brand new snow tires that come with it.. they are meaty as hell.
Heat works great, A/C has been eliminated
Rebuilt title
Front bumper has a fair amount of paint chipping.. If he keeps it he was just going to get one of those front bras as it'd cover basically everything.
abs light is on
Power door locks work
Doesn't leak or burn any fluids at all.
Exhaust leak at y-pipe.
Driverside doorskin adhesive peeling
typical dash cracks
cd player am/fm radio
cruise control

Heres all the new parts.. basically all have less than 3k miles on them:
Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump (new fuel lines installed as well at the time)
New manifold gaskets
New coil
New ignition control module
Many other misc new gaskets
new starter
New optispark ( just installed last week, less than 200 miles on it )

Anyway - the car runs great and drives great
Would make a decent daily driver / car to spend some time on and make nice again.

Here's what will be getting fixed soon before it's listed on craigslist:
The peeling door skin/adhesive
Drivers window motor
Headliner

Anyway, he's going to start asking like $3300 on Craigslist and hope to get 2700/2800 which is what he payed for it.
However if someone on here would like to pick it up - $2500 is the lowest he'd take for it. Price is $2500 firm, once he gets those 3 issues fixed he'll be listing it on CL - $2500 price will stay though. He's just willing to cut his losses here if someone wants to pick it up.

I'll have more pics hopefully soon.. I took a bunch of it the other day and now can't remember where I put my camera..

Just post here or PM me if interested and I'll get you into contact with him as he isn't on here.
If you have any questions I can also answer most of them.

:( Yeah my next one has to be a manual. I'm also keeping an eye out for my lil brother. I won't let him buy an auto though....or an LT1

As I recall, you're still going to "Only have this for a while and sell to to get an LS1 once you have more funds" ;)

Is this Scott White (or his kids) car?

Not that I know of.

My buddy bought it from some girl in Quad Cities back in June.
Really doesn't seem like the car was beat on, just like it wasn't taken care of.
It's a lot better now and runs and drives good. We're trying to fix up the interior some more, and then the minor mechanical issues (exhaust leak / window motor).
