I just want them for the rims, either set would work for me they are still pretty damn cheap even with the tires. Ill probably get the ones you dont lol.

Yeah they are the 16s. Im not interested in any other rims right now besides ones for a drag set up.

Think high 11s are do able with stock interals and no spray? Previous owner ran 12.2s with what it has now plus qa1s in the front, lid, tb maf and slicks and skinnys.

It's not stock. He said stock INTERNALS. IIRC it had a pretty decent mod list in the for sale ad. I'm to lazy to go find it though.

Were you in CR with your car last night?

No too scared to drive it around with the 5% tint open cut out and no plates lol. Plus the passenger headlight wouldnt pop up and that was a pain in the ass to get to actually work right. The previous owner just put a new headlight motor in and the arm was riding on the threads stripping them out instead of the shoulder.

I was talking about needing just a pair of the 15x8 rims on ls1tech but the guy said they are already sold so now it doesnt matter. I dont need 17s.

Anyway after doing a lil more googling about the previous owner the fastest time he actually posted up was

That's my personal best stock cam, stock heads, intake manifold etc. Just your basic bolt ons. Lid, filter, smooth bellow, long tubes, off road y-pipe, 3" electronic cut-out, sub frame connectors, lower control arms, slicks & skinnies, tune, stall, shiftkit.

It could probably go for some steeper gears. Even then, I'd be very surprised if it saw 11s, but its been done before.

Just going by what he posted it ran back when he owned the car. Who knows if it actually ran that, Ill dig up some of his old posts about it and post them here.

Seems like it ran pretty good. Thats not TOO outlandish. With a good tune, built tranny, sticky tires, big stall, springs etc it'd run pretty good. The gears surprised me a little though. Sweet ride man, ls1 crowd is growing around here.

Doesnt really matter now since it has like half the mods it did when it ran those times. And im pretty sure it has 2.73s you can look at the code on the door and it will say IIRC. My 02 z28 had 2.73s as well

2.73's and steel driveshaft are the lowest teir v8's. There's some option you could opt for to get 3.23's and an aluminum driveshaft, and all manuals are 3.42s. The door codes for gears are gu6(3.42), gu2 and gu3(2.73/3.73). I'm pretty sure thats all right, its been awhile

Yes the car really does have 2.73's in it thats its original 10 bolt it really did run 12.3's with just lid, filter ,bellow, lts, ory, cutout, qa1's/comp engineering, slicks and skinnies, subframes, stall etc. The car has actually seen a best of 11.78 @ 113.XX on just motor with the 4400 converter if I remember correctly on a 4.10 gear 10 bolt but it was pushing damn near rev limiter on the 26" slicks. I'm sorry about the headlight motor man work has been kicking my ass lately I hope you enjoy and take car of her if you ever decide to sell it let me know i'll probably buy it back.

Could be for street-ability. 4.10s is pretty steep for an auto on the street. That's the only conclusion I can come to. That's why I'll probably stick with the 3.42s I got now, happy medium.

I have 3 - 10bolts that I could rotate and it takes about 20 minutes to swap an f-body rear-end on a lift then bleed out the rear brakes really quick. So I kept the original 2.73 gear rear for a while put a 4.10 in it then had my other rear-end with a 3.73 as well incase I broke one of the 10-bolts so I could still drive the car around if I wanted too. Back when it had all the parts on it with the cut-out closed I could get races all day long because it looks like a bone stock f-body with just a lid/headers so every thinks it'll run high 12's if that.


Edit: Streetability doesnt bother me I drove the car slammed on the drag suspension, on slicks and skinnies, no front sway bar, big stall, 4.10's daily if I had to when my other car broke and it was not an issue at all.

If you need parts I have a ton of stuff left.

I have the front QA1's w/ 275# springs with new strut mounts (COMPLETE) the rear Comp Engineering Drag shocks, UMI lower control arms, umi panhard bar,

These are pending
umi panhard relocation, umi torque arm w/ dsl attached, ls6 intake manifold with nitro dave money maker, ported stock tb, slp 85mm maf and thats about it I believe.

Got new rims, some torque thrust IIs I'll get some pics after i get them powdercoated black (for free at work!)

Debating if i should take the tint off, it looks sweet as hell but i always have to be worried everytime i drive it and i cant see shit out the side windows at night. Wouldnt any 93-02 windows work? Just find some stock ones to swap on for when i get a ticket/warning.
